On 22 October 2018, Mahalia Swinfield hit send on the email she had been drafting in her head for weeks.
“The daily bullying, and constant abuse I, and many others, have been subject to is no longer worth it,” she wrote to her boss of three years. “Please see this as notice of my resignation effective immediately.”
