Recently, I had the pleasure of participating in a soundwalk at Hall Place, Bexley, alongside members of Centrepieces, a vibrant community of artists focused on mental health and well-being. Together, we explored the historic gardens, capturing the sights and sounds of our walk using our mobile phones.
Below, you’ll find some images from our walk, all shot using mobile phones. These photographs were taken by Centrepieces members and later edited by me using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. The results are a testament to the idea that while professional equipment can elevate your work, it’s by no means a necessity for creating meaningful art that promotes relaxation and wellness.
All artists used their own creative freedom to capture these images, determining composition on their own. Then I went and edited the look and feel with colors, texture, and some AI animals.
This is part of a larger soundscape piece where I will combine the audio and visuals from the soundwalk together. I plan on making edits and having this project finalized in the next few weeks.
